The rods are considered a "Custom" rod since they are to my drawing. They are approximately $1,500 USD

Hi Mike,
Hope the parts sourcing & engine development coming on great.
My NC30 is looking well but not ready for track as yet.
The spare engine project GSXR rotor/windings still in progress.
I have thought of purchasing a GSXR cover and fabricating the windings holder in-situ with some alu welding to house/adapt to fit but awaiting reply from yourself.

Do you actually make/sell any of the conversion/modification adaptors you have previously used.?
If so I am interested in purchasing an adaptor plate to hold the windings onto the generator cover.
(Its the 3 holed 'D' shape piece)
I'm over stateside for a short holiday (NYC) for a week as of Sat 14/02/15. (You could post national via our hotel.?)
Your correspondence is appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve Founds.

Hi Hunter,
Yep seen Rick Oliver does this.
Is he a distributor / importer for Mike.?
Does anyone know if there are different variations of it available.?
Cheers.

I think Mike's is an addapter that screws into the oem cover,
I think Ricks kit includes a complete new cover.

Never heard of a distributor for Mike. So probably direct sale only.
Rick sells a different version as in an complete new cover. Lovely kit.
Don't forget the Durbahn ones: http://shop.durbahn.de/shop/en/bikes/Ho ... bikecat=55 So what are you after, Steve? Functionality vs. price vs. design vs. high-tech art? Quality shouldn't be any issue, all good. Maybe advise to do a search on the forum since there are more specific topics related to this and reply on there with questions.

Back on this topic:
I am still interested in pistons and rods, so I am following this for updates/outcome of your different pistons sourcing, mike ;)

Hi guys:

The Alternator kit I made is different from Rick Oliver's. I haven't seen Rick's. I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to mine as we all share ideas back and forth here.

My kit does indeed screw into the stock cover. Unfortunately, I just sold my last adaptor. I don't have current plans to make more. So, Rick's kit os probably the best way to go.

Cheers,

Mike Norman
