I have just got a mercury twin stack exhaust 3/4 system for my nc30, it looks very well built but I can not find any information about them so I'm guessing there isn't many around? Any info would be great.

Re: mercury twin exhaust
Mercury were based in Scotland, were called Swona first. Graham made me a set back in 2001 and made them as swona then mercury, but would only build in batches of 5 as took so long. I had 5 sets off him back in about 2005 when I was building race RVF's. THere are not many around, think was only me and BMC that bought from him, did do odd system as a one off or tag on when we ordered systems , basically a copy of the MHP older systems but with some of his own mods. Not been trading since about 2007 i am afraid.

Re: mercury twin exhaust
I bought some Mercury twin stack carbon cans from Graham adkins years ago, very nice build, used them for a custom conversion on my nc30 in hybrid with ethos full pipes. Sadly mercury company closed a long time ago. I remember Acid on here had a twin stack full race system on his green castol nc30, not sure if he is still around here.

Re: mercury twin exhaust
Cost £600 a system back in early 2000's. I sold a system couple of months back for £450 , as thought was a MHP 3/4 system, only when looked properly realized was a full Mercury one, DOH! But was to a fellow racer so they will get good use out of it.

Re: mercury twin exhaust
Always thought it was mercury then swona shows what I know.
Remember him advertising in greybike magazine, made some lovely tapered ZXR race systems and I'm sure he offered the NC30 systems with differing tail pipe sections, one either side or two up one side etc.
Ive seen Mike's at BMC and they are full systems with the pipes on either side.

Have the bill here somewhere, I reckon I paid something in the region of 380 gbp for the two carbon canisters with db killers. And yes, mercury full system were available in twinstack (shotgun) or SP1 set-up.
