Re: Classic Bike Trackday 1 - 30th & 31st of May - Angelsey
Hi all,
Bit late coming on here - waaaaay too much going on already this year! Great to see you on the ball already and looking forward to our first stint at Angelsey - we're looking forward to it as well. This trackday is going to be part of the new Welsh Classic MC Festival (club displays, traders, Thunderfest and a couple of bands in the evening), so why not have a club stand in the paddock as well as getting out on track??
If you've got any questions, just shout or email me: info@classicbiketrackdays.com

Tony - there's probably going to be a cavalcade at lunchtime on both days (after the Thunderfest), so you could probably ride the YSR in there!Drunkn Munky wrote:Im game if theres a few up for it, you think there let the YSR on track? :)
Yep thats crap mate - but I know the feeling! Just come along anyway - have a great weekend and enjoy the social . . . it won't be long before we're all looking forward to Cadwell, so maybe aim to get the bike ready for Mini Nurburgring instead!!CMSMJ1 wrote:I've got no time off work and am finding bugger all time to do anything. Don't even have a working moto (of the two I have)
Sucky
I'm totally stuck between wanting to come and play - more like needing it - and finding a starp stick and poking myself in the eye with it.
I think the bare minimum for me would be to come and spectate and have a few ales - but I know I'd be dying to get out.
The snow is not helping is it!! I need a lockup somewhere I can work on my bikes and get them ready and go from there.
ballache.

That is very generous mate. I'm hoping to get sorted and turn up with no9 and an RVF..lol If not, I'll get over for the crack and blag a lunchtime session.
Am going to check a container today and arrange some storage so I can work on a bike at a time in my teeny tiny garage.

Good man.
I'm hopefully going to have two bikes but don't want to commit myself to it 100%, you know what its like it always takes a lot longer to finish stuff than you allow.
If I can get in top of things there will be a spare bike so would be a crying shame to leave it watching, haha ya know these things are built to be thrashed.

I've agreed a container and so should be getting my shit in order and getting my motorbikes fettled in the next few weeks.
I hope your GSXR is the spare bike Chris? been a long time coming that one my good man!
@DM - I'm in, let me know when you want some coin and will sort it out. Am going to hire a van, so if anyone from near me wants to chip in - let's have it.

Be great to see you again Mark, Chris and Tony.
Are we all going in the same group on the 400's?

Will be great to meet up again, was it Rockingham last time, freaky attack of the bag day if I remember.
Yes Mark will be the GSXR but I'm not promising as I am unable to rush anything to do with my bikes, they are more a hobby than a necessity so get done very slowly. I'm 100% sure that it will run sometime this year though.
