NC30 - Tyga full system issue
Hey all,
I'm having issue with my Tyga exhaust system where it attaches to the front studs. The plate that holds the headers to he port is quite a bit thinner than the OE headers and as soon as I start to torque the nuts, it bends. However, in order for me to get it tight enough so that it won't drop off, I have to continue to to tighten to the point where it starts bending the studs outwards!
I have had this system for maybe 3 years now and am wondering if anyone has had similar issues or if the plate design has been thickened up since?
This is the part:

and it looks thicker... I think! I don't want to order these though if it will just be the same as what I already have on there
Thanks
Luke

Could you use 2 on each head? Rather than just one

Fire up an email to Tyga, they will surely be able to help you with that issue!

Re: NC30 - Tyga full system issue
Had the same issue, I emailed Paul at Tyga about it and he more or less kept putting me off saying that they were starting to make them thicker and I could get a replacement set yada yada... Been a couple years now and I've pretty much given up. To remedy this I found the "happy" place on the flanges where they were tight enough to seal and not fall off but not too tight as they bend the crap out of the flanges.

Yeah - I thought I found the sweet spot and then one of the headers dropped off after 3 laps!

They are prtty much all the same,I have micron with the same problem.
I think you would be better off getting some thicker one's lazer cut.

Sorry for not mentioning it before but we've taken on board the comment son the thickness and they are now 5mm so you no more bending. Like Speedy said, better send us an email for the right answer on our products

Re: NC30 - Tyga full system issue
I just bought a full system and no problems with flange thickness. Stoked with service and with the exhaust. When it arrived there was a few small marks on the muffler so I sent a picture to Paul and no questions asked he sent a replacement which I received today.
Big thumbs up to Paul and Tyga
Cheers
