NC30 Tacho Signal Type
Hey Guys,
I am wondering if anyone can help me, I have searched and cant find any info.
Does anyone know what the output from the VFR400 CDI for the Tacho is?
And perhaps the scale?
Cheers,

If you are referring to the actual waveform I might be able to help, give me a day or two to make a measurement.

Thanks Magg, much appreciated. I don't have a scope to measure it. If you have the scale that would be great too.

Re: NC30 Tacho Signal Type
Tacho signal:
+6V pulses fixed at 0.4 mS wide and spaced 4mS between leading edges at 4000 rpm, 3mS at 6000rpm and assumed to continue in same pattern.

Re: NC30 Tacho Signal Type
This works out to 4 pulses per revolution for reference.
Thanks again Mag!
