RAF Valley 27th - 28th Sept
I appreciate this is a long way for many of you - but is anyone else here going to this or been to the others ?
i see loads of 400s out there in race / road spec.
If you have never been, it's NOT the circuit in anglesey, this is the RAF base that they use for the weekend and cone off the runway to make a fantastic track from. As such it is restricted entry (if your names not on the list . . . . ) being a working RAF base
sounds pants, but its far from it. fast sweeping with the grippiest tarmac known to man and great fun.
£100 for both days or £60 per day and all goes to charity.
Not sure if there are many places left (they always seem to sell out quickly) but have a look on facebook thing for more details.
Anyone going - if you see a RC30 or CRM250 being tonked around in inters come say hello

Right, my neighbour is pulling out of at least one if not two of the days and willing to sell his ticket / entry
his mrs is in hospital so would rather be close to her for obvious reasons.
any takers for this weekend ? you can either have one day or both - upto you
Its 100 quid for both days, need to know ASAP so i can get the names changed.

James it was good to see you there and glad you had a great day too.
I also had a fantastic weekend, the weather was stunning, and i achieved what i wanted to do in over 12 years and take my RC30 out for a spanking on track - well it didn't disappoint.
I soon has bits touching down and in the interests of self (bike) preservation decided 4 sessions was enough for this and called it a day for the 750 - so then took the CRM out for a session
Sunday i used the CRM250 all day and was running front pack of the inters loosing out on the straights for obvious reasons but clawing distance back in the corners.
learned much from Paul (2smoke) following him round while he was busting shapes on the 350LC and generally had a fantastic time.
for anyone even considering this - this is easily on par with cadwell and IMO is better and more confidence inspiring to ride too.
anyway allow the pics to wet your appetite
