It's a regular occurrence for me haha, I've found some nice roads but never known how to get back!DocV400 wrote:I've occasionally found that getting 'lost' is good, as you find an ace road that you wouldn't have otherwise

Went to LeMans for the Moto24 at the weekend on the NC30. Friday night shuttle to Calais, then blast down through Abbeville, Rouen, Alencon, to LeMans, arriving at midnight local time (Fast Hotel). Brilliant, epic road trip with great racing on Saturday, then all night long through to Sunday afternoon. Met some top blokes, especially Pascal the Frenchman! Scramble back to Calais for the shuttle & met Niall Mackenzie & all the blokes coming back down from Assen! (Did that last year). If you haven't been to LeMans for a night race, get down there - next year it is in the spring for the bikes and June for the cars. Who says NC30's can't rack up the miles? - trust me they can
Regards,
Dave.

Took mine to France back in 2003 with a group of work colleagues.
Camped in Fresnay-Sur-Sarthe for the week, rode to Le-Mans twice.
Couldn't resist trying out one of the Gravel-Traps . . .

Took four of us to drag it back out though!

Spent a few hours at Hampton Downs circuit. Met up with another fellow 400GB member. Had a blast.

Those are some really nice pics Will. I think I see a gopro strapped to your chest. Gonna post some vids?

Just finished fitting a Rick Oliver subframe, Lithium battery and breather catch tank to the track bike
It must have lost over ten pounds in dead weight :)
