Re: Coming back to the fold - track conversion NC23 + road N
Spent today mucking about with the R1, but got some little bits sorted.

rebuilt rear brake, chain on and adjusted (needs a link taking out though) and not pictured I put new float bowl gaskets in :)

Hiya, thanks, glad you've enjoyed it. It's still going ahead but unfortunately it's stalled at the moment due to lack of funds (R1 just had tyres and clutch)
Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up again soon, I might have a set of RVF carbs on the way, which will mean I can MOT the '35 and make some headway with it

Running a lot better now, although I was still running open carbs while I sorted the fuel supply out :)

Finally rode it yesterday!!! It goes ok, but the fuelling is dogsh!t
will rip the carbs apart after I get it MOT'd tomorrow morning.
I have bad news though, I lost the pillion seat on the test ride :'( means I need to hurry up and order the full carbon bodyset from Tyga.

Did you find out the reason why the pillion seat came off?

The subframe has been damaged and doesn't hold it very well, the seat had to be flexed for it to clip down, the wind must have just flexed with the wind and vibration and come loose. It's on a half mile stretch somewhere!
