NC35 Tyga Tail Light Not Working

Hi Guys,

On my NC35 I noticed that my tail light and the light for the licence plate are not working. The brake light component works fine for both front and rear but just not the normal tail light. These are the two parts in question:

I assume it must be wiring that is causing the issue as it is an LED and the brake part still works. What exactly should I be looking for. You will have to be really specific as I am not mechanically minded at all.
