I have a 1990 VFR400 NC30 with a rough idle and am looking at getting carbs ultrasonic cleaned and then re-install. I of course will need to sync them but am unsure what tool you guys use to adjust the screws. I know some use right angle screw driver or use hand with 7mm socket. My question is what kind/style of screw driver do you use? I have seen some right angle bit driver tools but am unsure if they will fit in the tight space and actually work? Could some of you post up pictures or just PM me a picture of the tool you have used. Thanks for any help...

http://www.carbtune.com/
they sell a right angle driver and ship worldwide that will make it easy. you can get chinese cheaper copies off ebay too i think, cant say how long they will last though.
you can get creative with a 7mm small socket and flexible adapater if your stuck but these drivers make it much easier

Re: Carb Sync adjustment tool ?
Thanks Neo... I noticed they sold those but wasn't sure if they would work. The 90 degree one is a bit pricey @ 42l but the 100 degree one @ 14l is not bad. I will most likely order the Morgan Carbtune 4 so I guess I might as well get the driver from them as well unless I see something on this side of the pond that looks about the same...Thanks for info , much appreciated...

Here's the one I use. Motion Pro makes a cheaper one but I can't vouch for how it works...
