NC30 speedo bulb holders

Post by jamie125 » Fri May 02, 2014 9:06 pm

Are the bulb holders for the speedo lights still available in any form? Either from honda or an aftermarket item.

Yeah the little rubber bungs I'm after, my bulbs are very hit and miss, give them a little wiggle and they come back on, very annoying. Was wondering if its the bulbs not seating properly due to the rubber bits?

The metal contacts in the rubber holders are very fragile and can be bent out of alignment.

Try and bend them so they make better contact with the bulb, it's helped me in the past.

yes this.

use a small watch type screwdriver, or a nedle etc.

the bulb holders inside have 4 prongs, two for eah side of the bulb, bend them in so they are almost touching and then push the bub in, it will be a nice snug fit and should work fine then, becareful you dont bend the tabs when insterting the bulb after tightening them up., the bulb should force them apart not squash them.

also make sure your using right size bulbs and theres no trouble with them
