Baffle
Guys,
I'm currently running the standard JMCA exhaust on my bike. However it looks like its been gutted and its very very loud and does not have a baffle.
Does anyone know where i could source a replacement baffle?

MHP do an adjustable baffle - i have one in my R6 and it's very good. I was at 105dB and can get down to 96dB
It does affect the performance a little at full dB restriction but if it's a quiet trackday' i would rather a slight lack in performance over going home :)

Yes give Mark a call - or do a search for MHP baffle on ebay and just put a message on the order what bike you want it for.

The saga continues.
Contacted mark hill at mhp he can maybe do it if i give him the right sizes.
But as luck would have it i know a guy who can fabricate one for me. So all done got the baffle tonight fitted it and i think there is defo less of a loudness from it (the sewing machine noise is almost there). Dont know if its mot passable tho.
However in fitting it i've encountered another issue. There is / was a bad rattle coming from the bike, further investigation and after taking the exhaust off. I discover that the inside of the exhaust is all but gutted, just some sections of metal with the honey comb type stuff left and it kind of moves about but not enough to make it rattle. So what was making rattle? I found that out when i tipped the exhaust up and gave it a good tap and lots of fragments of the honey comb stuff fell out.
So tomorrow im going to re-fit the exhaust and see how it sounds.
On the up side I was amazed at how light the thing is (to be expected from a gutted pipe i suppose) im going to weigh it at my work but i reckon no more that 2kg max

Yep new exaust is on the list defo. Cant decide which one tho thinking maybe the sp1 style or twin tyga.
