Inside the switches.

Something I haven't mentioned yet: when I bought the bike, it didn't run.
When I pulled the spark plugs, they looked brand new.

So I think it just stopped running, and when they could't figure it out they just sold the bike...
Maybe this brings up some ideas on what the problem can be??

I know you previously said you bypassed the clutch switch but have you checked the diode?
Just in case.

I checked the diode, one way it is closed, the other way it has a resistance of 560 ohms.
Is this a correct value, or should it be close to 0 ohms?

I think so long as it's closed one way and open the other it will be ok but I checked mine (1989 nc23 k)and it reads 890 and has 8.9 written by the contacts.

I have used a test light on the coils, to make sure the coils get a pulse.
There is a current on the coils, but the voltage drops when I start cranking.

So the CDI isn't giving a pulse to the coils.
Is there any way to check for a pulse from the pulse generator??

I opened my cdi and found a loose wire.
I think it should be on the open spot next to the yellow wire.

Does anyone know where the blue-white wire should be connected?

False alarm, the white-blue wire should be disconnected..

It is an CDI-unit from Carmo electronics.
I really don't know what is wrong with the bike..

IT'S RUNNING!!!

Apparently the jump cables weren't capable to deliver enough current to create a spark..

Thanks everyone for all your help!
