Just checked the CBT website and the PS trackday is on the Saturday, so that's pre 1990 on the Friday and pre 95 on the Saturday.

5 sessions 9am-8pm = a lot of waiting between the sessions, loved it last year but wont be bothering this year. Too many groups (6) and not enough track time for the money.

Thats the same amount of sessions as last year isnt it? At least with 6 groups you get a chance to grab something to eat inbetween.

2hr wait near enough between sessions. I've had a look at the time table for the day.

Copy and pasted from a post on FB, hopefully this will make things clearer.
Cadwell weekend questions answered.
Ok folks on Friday 1st August the trackday runs for 11 hours; from 9am until 8pm at night - so we can give riders what they've been asking for;
- more time between sessions so riders have time to catch their breath, or fettle the bike (we were told by numerous riders they felt a bit rushed last year!)
- enable them to see what's happening on track, in the paddock and generally socialise, as this is also what the day is all about (as well as riding on track)
- so all riders are able to take part in all their sessions (last year the late afternoon sessions were almost down to single figures and we were told by many they felt too tired to go out again)
- additional groups for 'Brit/European' bikes, and 'Fast/Race' so these riders can be on track with their own ilk and get more enjoyment from the day
We've mixed and matched the two days (Burn Up and the PS day) as this year it's Cadwell's 80th anniversary, so the whole 3 days is a huge event celebrating motorcycling in all classic forms.
So the extra groups offset the price increase of the track, the extra medical staff and the cost of running into the evening. As organisers we also have to try and guess what you guys want, but the sessions will depend on the bookings we receive (as always), so we'll adapt the groups to suit - which might mean 5 groups on Friday rather than 6, thereby giving you lot another session each!
We've made camping free for all riders and a friend on both Thursday night and Friday night this year (paid for by us - yes we have to cover Cadwell's security etc), who will be issued with a wristband to camp when they arrive. Cadwell will be charging for anyone camping that is not covered by these wristbands at £10 per person..
By request we have the High Rollers playing again on Friday night making for a good evening (if you lot can stay awake that is).
Saturday 2nd August will start at 9am running through till 5pm with 4 groups - again allowing a new group for Brit/European bikes.
After 5pm Saturday, Cadwell and Auto66 take over and it's their show from then on. We would ask that riders move from the paddock area as Sunday's race meeting riders will need to set up. Yep we know it’s a bit of a pain but it's nothing more than we would expect when taking over the track from them. It's all about getting along together and having a great weekend!
Camping on Saturday night and entry into the Sunday racing is something we are still talking to Cadwell/msv about (yes it has sill to be sorted out we are trying)
Again as with last year we have many clubs joining us to put on displays, but there will also be displays of some real exotica in the paddock too, as well as the PS bike build-off bikes (hopefully all finished and running!)
We will let you know more information as it transpires.
Thanks Rob and Darin

Sort your bike out before the day an make sure it works, more time between sessions so riders have time to catch their breath, or fettle the bike (we were told by numerous riders they felt a bit rushed last year!)
Get fit and you wont be tired and be able to do all sessions, If you cant get your breath back in 40 mins as before (3 session structure, god help!!!) I've changed an engine on an fzr 400 in a break n got back out?
Come on! Spoilt a good day!

Ok I'm want to book this, what day are most of the 400's going on?
I've got a 91 FZR so it's Saturday for me.
Also where do I book it? I can't find it! Long day & wine drunk

Some of us want to ride the track and have a Craic in between sessions, when darin came to have a chat with us in the evening last year pretty much everybody said we wanted more time in between sessions and that's what they have done, shows good management from them if you ask me? Customer feedback and then acting on it!
I'm going and I'm sure we will have an even better turn out than last year.
Dobbs I think Tony is going to contact CBT on our behalf and block book for us so we can get the discount.
