Hello again
Well I don't know the answer directly but you can have a look at this http://www.fzrarchives.com/ipb/lofivers ... 27211.html
The guy is using an FZR600 3HE frame which is going to be similar to yours (it looks like a 3EN1 to be honest) but may not be the same, measure twice. Also in his second post he says 250mm = 1 inch ... it's actually 24.5mm

Re: Fzr400 swingarm bearing question

Yeah... don't measure metric bikes in feet and inches!
The 3TJ needle rollers are larger than the 1WG bearings but there should be a number stamped on the outer race of the bearings and you should be able to get them from a local bearing supplier. Failing that, have a measure of the 3TJ swingarm internal diameter and spacer tube external diameter- you should be able to get a bearing locally that has those measurements. The 1WG spacer tube is much smaller in diameter than the 3TJ one so you'll need a way around that as well. There are no needle roller bearings (that I have been able to find!) that fit the 3TJ swingarm and 1WG spacer tube.
Sorry I can't be more specific but I don't have any loose parts to get the numbers off for you.

Re: Fzr400 swingarm bearing question
The Yamaha part number for the bearing is 93317-52865.
I was lucky when I took mine out that they survived ok, I just washed them out with petrol and re-greased them up good and proper. I did warm up the swinger a bit with a plumbers gas torch and I used the fat end of a 1/2" socket set looooong extension bar.
The smaller bearings on the underside got battered

Re: Fzr400 swingarm bearing question
A handy dandy tip if you're struggling to get the bearing races out after having destroyed the bearing trying to get them out, and if you have access to a MIG welder, is to weld a length of steel rod (8mm or so) onto the bearing race sticking out through the other side of the swingarm, ie the side you hammer from to drift them out. You can bang away with impunity safe in the knowledge that the bearing race will give way before the weld does. It's a jolly satisfying way of dealing with a shitty problem! The steel rod can be re-used once you've removed the offending bearing race and launched it over the nearest fence
