Help with HISS key programming?
Hi all. This is a bit of a long shot, but can anyone offer me any guidance on programming a new key for my VTEC II?
I have a new transponder key, which has been cut and works the locks. I pretty confident with making a cable and doing the actual programming once the cable is in place. The bit that is confusing me is actually connecting the cable, as all the info online refers to programming keys for other Honda models.
Basically, I need to connect the programming cable from the battery to the ICU pulse generator, and I haven't got a scooby where the ICU pulse generator is!
Has anyone either done this themselves or know where the ICU thingy is??

Ok, a quick update. I've just had the tank off and I still can't find the bloody pulse generator, but I did find the connector with a solid yellow wire and a yellow/white striped wire that apparently lead to it. Can anyone out there confirm that these are actually the wires that lead to the pulse generator? Or point me in the direction of a VTEC II wiring diagram? Many thanks!!
