Can any of the 2TK owners on the forum advise which rear tyre they use, given the limited options available? The standard size is 140/60 18, one "size" up on the 1WG (130). The only option appears to be the Bridgestone BT92 which I've been advised is a bit of a commuter/touring tyre. If the answer is go to a 150, do I get enough clearance on the swing arm or any odd handling problems? I'd be grateful for any comments/advice.
I want to keep the bike standard so have no interest in swapping the rear wheel for a 17".
Thanks

I'd go up to the 150 profile, I had one on both the 3EN2 bike's though I didn't have a 140 for comparison.

Hi, I'd go to the 150, I had 150 highsport on my 3en1, I have a 150 bt092 on my nc30 and its got more grip than i'll ever use, but I only do raod riding.

I'm pretty sure you can still get 090s in 150-18" as well, they're good tyres although not as much use in winter as they'd be in summer!

If you decide on the BT 090 150/60 18; keep your purchase in house and get this one.

I use that tyre on a 3EN2 and recommend them.
With mine; one 2TK has an older BT45 fitted and the other has a different s/a so no direct comparison but the 160 Super Corsa fitted on that only slows the flickability marginally. I doubt you would notice between a 140 and a 150.
The BT 092 is a duel compound tyre with a more durable centre strip designed for general use and is also a very good tyre.
Either will be more than capable on a 2TK.

Thanks all for your advice. Think the 150 option looks the best. Will report back when bike is on the road
