bros 17" wheel mod

does anyone know anything about it?

is it the hub of the wheel you have to modd?

is the wheel the same size or smaller thant he standard nc's one (ie width etc)

i thikn it's the wheel and hub that need modded,the wheel needs notches cut out for the brake disc bolts and the hub needs modded to take the wheel,unless i'm confused and the bros wheel isn't for stud fitment

What did you search for? Bros should have brought up the topic posted by Royster. My reason for deciding against it was that it was too weighty and decided to go for an RVF rear instead. Direct fitment, no modding required and 17'

ah, i searched 'bros wheel mod' and 'bros rear conversion', as well as others

so all it needs is a spacer and ovaling the bros wheel holes, i may look into it if I have the money to use as a track wheel, (although things like fairings and tyre warmers will be further up my list)

Well, if you think of it, you'll probably get the wheel for about £50, then another £50 for the machining then about £30 for the spacer, so there's £130. Now, if you bide your time, you'll probably find an RVF wheel for about £150. A bit more than £130 but no modding required and it's a lighter wheel. There's a few reasons to get an RVF (or Delkevic) one.

+ i prefer the look of the rvf one, + i can use it on the vfr all the time and keep it looking original

but then again i dont have £150 to spend on a wheel, i may just stick with the 18"er, save the moeny and get myself the next set of sticky tyres, (after the first have squared

And they look crap!

Why do you need a 17" wheel? I have both sizes, I couldn't giove a stuff what size it is as long as sticky rubber is still available (if you run slicks then the 17" is pretty much a must though).
