Re: New regulator rectifier?
Sorry I have been a bit lax on a reply. Bike has been with a friend for a while whilst I was interstate.
But anyway.

That's about the best photo of it I could get. Night time and I do not wanna pull it apart atm. The bracket extends down about an inch from where it goes under the RR, and I just have the screws from the tail light side holding it. Bolts would probably be better but it seems to be holding up.

Re: New regulator rectifier?
Guys, I wonder if you considered using the FH008 R/R as it is a bit smaller than the FH020. It also has flying leads rather than the big plug sockets, so is probably easier to maneuver into the OEM location. Anyway, this is what I'm planning to do!

To be honest I just went with what was recommended. The R/R you suggest may work just as well or even better. The one I fitted is working well so far. It doesnt even feel slightly warm even after my hour commute to work.

Random question, but I recently wired an r6 one in, an have a longer wire on it now, and thinking I should relocate it while I'm there...good idea? Where would you move it to if you could? I know the ninja 650 has it in front of the rear wheel...

Usual spot left hand side....I was thinking somewhere with more air flow? As id imagine the tail isn't too different?
