NC30 headlight problem.

Hey guys in a bit of a pickle here. I got my nc30 a day ago and it was all fine and everything worked. Went out on it today amd after a short time the main headlights had gone. There are both sidelights working and the rear but no dip or full beam or the full beam flasher

My only thoughts are that it was outside in the 'big' storm at last night and im thinking water has got into somewhere?
Does anyone know of this problem? I have seen it before on one but cant remember what fixed it.

Is there a common place that if water gets into it stops the lights working?

The annoying thing is that they worked for a while before they went.
And both bulbs are fine. Haven't checked fuses. Haven't found where the fuse box ia yet.
Any fast answers would be gratefully appreciated.

Being out in the rain shouldn't really affect too much (but it can), they were built to ride around in wet weather without issues.

Check the fuse box firstly (under the pillion seat).

Check which bulbs are fitted - Japanese bikes come with 60/35 watt bulbs, some owners fit the more common 60/55 watt bulbs without fitting a relay to the low beam circuit, this can (and usually does) lead to the left hand switchgear burning out.

If the fuse is not blown, take the switchgear off, open it up and take a look (it's only a few screws, not difficult).

Dodgy left hand switchgear perhaps, might be worth stripping it down and giving it a clean up.

Turns out its loose connection in a plug from the LH switch gear intonthe main loom.
