Easy carb measurements, please?
Does anyone have some carbs handy that they can measure for me? Mine are installed on my bike to which I don't have easy access at present.
I'm looking to learn:
- the throat OD and seating depth on the engine side of the carbs
- the center-to-center distance between the carbs
- the depth of the carbs, not including inlet trumpet
Many thanks for all the help on my bike so far from the many commenters here. This place really is a wealth of knowledge.

Re: Easy carb measurements, please?
I have some NC30 carbs on bench at the moment. If I understand what you are after ... here are what I measure:
Throat outer diameter : 39mm
Width of both throats outside-left-to-outside-right : 169mm (given the above throat measurement, you can do the center-to-center distance maths)
Carb depth 94mm
Throat outer diameter : 39mm

Carb depth 94mm

This is perfect! Thanks much! I calculate a 65mm center bore distance.
