What sort of parts and where are you buying them?
I usually get what I need, but I always state the minimum condition the part needs to be in and only usually buy from reputable sources:
- Trusted forum members
- Rick Oliver & Graeme France
- New from David Silvers or Honda etc
Some people's ideas of 'mint' condition and 'like new' is probably a lot different to yours and mine too!

Yeah that's pretty common I guess.
You guys get it worse in the UK than us here because of the extra potential for corrosion.

There are a lot of people on eBay selling crap for high prices. if the pics of the item are indistinct, and the price not cheap, then I'll not bother. You can get good stuff on eBay if you are patient. Currently, one popular breaker has stock NC35 calipers up at £75 each! I got a pair in very good nick a few years ago for about a tenner delivered. On the other hand, I also paid a fairly high price a few years ago for a water pump. I had no choice, I could either pay well over a hundred quid to Honda, or get a guaranteed sound one from a breaker that I trust. sometimes I've seen them go for £15, but I didn't have a broken one at the time. It's why I have a small pile of bits that I've bought at good prices, just in case one day I have no option!
