NC21 Fuel Help Pls

Post by damiannunn »

Firstly, thanks for all your replies on my previous cry for help!

When I am riding, after about 10 mins the bike cuts out before dying completely.

There is a huge smell of fuel and bike will not start until rested for another 10 min - Its like bike is flooded.

The time before it dies can be hugely shortened if I am having to ride fast.

I thought bike was not getting enough fuel at first, but now I'm sure it is getting too much.

Bike starts fine, almost straight away.

I have had previous electrical faults and I have a whole in the side of my can which I'm sure is effect performance but not this much although I could be wrong.

Oh, and my choke cable snapped ages ago - I'm sure the choke is off with no cable? - the things the cable are attatched to normally are in and when i pull them out they return to the in position.

I have had no choke for 6 months but this problem for 1 month.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Sounds like you have a lot of issues causing this problem.

I'd get the can fixed, sort the carbs out properly and check the ignition system for faults.
