Re: Does this sound right?
yes of course, two strokes its vitally important but even on 4 strokes it makes differnece depending on the engine setup, hence the need to rejet when you change the exhaust system.hawk2993 wrote:Aight, well I changed all the hoses as they were old and cracked, no difference still, valve clearances were still good, sparkplugs were still good. But it was still meh :/
And then I saw there was black soot over my exhaust system where there wasn't supposed to be, turns out, when that chick reversed into my bike over a month ago, she broke the exhaust muffler at the weld, it was literally just hanging on, and it also snapped it near the engine, so I got it tig welded and the bike was happy again. It also holds idle when cold better, but I still need to check the choke when I get time.
Who would've thought leaking exhaust would cause shit running, I honestly didn't think it would affect it that much. There is a metal rattling sound coming from somewhere though, I can't pin it, it's probably the exhaust spring?
glad its sorted
