Not worth the hassle in my opinion.
Unless you have loads of cash.
Have seen 600 and 900 engine conversions, many years ago even saw a 125 conversion???
Buy a different faster bike.

There is also the fabled turbo conversion ! And with F1 going to turbos next you they could be popular !!

Turbochargers and motorcycles don't really go together very well, but if you like a challenge...
I actually have a supercharged VFR800Fi, but I just bought and installed the kit, so all the thinking had already been done!
If I needed another project
, I'd consider engine swapping into a CBR400RR chassis, and if I did, it would have to be the biggest bang for the weight/size, so not a 600.

There is a nc29 400/900 conversion being sold on uk ebay at the moment. Item 161107018916. Pity there is no photos of the conversion.
