which way around to fit front sprocket?
Im fitting my new chain and sprockets now and have noticed that the block on one side of the sprocket is slightly bigger than on the other. So dependant which way around its fitted it could sit slightly closer or slightly further away from the engine.
Ive looked at my Haynes manual and read the bit about changing sprockets but they don't even mention this, they just say slide off and new one on. Putting it on the way it came off might not be right either, don't know who has worked on it in the past.
Anyone know before I give myself eye strain trying to figure it out lol
thanks

Does it have lettering stamped on it? If so this usually faces outwards
