Track setup advise.
Hi,
After spending most of last winter rebuilding the bike, I finally got to Donington last Tuesday. The bike ran perfect and pulled a lot stronger than before. Cammo's carb guide worked a treat. Really enjoying this bike on track and it handles really well, however I would like to improve it further. As you can see from the pic below, the rear sits really low, I'm not sure if its just the bodywork or the setup.

My plans are to rebuild the front forks with Rick Oliver upgrade kit and get everything straightened at the same time.
For the rear I was thinking of going down the VFR750 rear axle conversion from RO, do the dog one redrill mod and replace the rear shock. The problem is I think it will still sit low with dogbone mod because o the 17" rear wheel.
I would really appreciate some advise on which rear shock, suspension linkage and any other crucial work needed to get this bike right.
Thanks in advance
Haydn

Re: Track setup advise.
I cant offer to much advice on the 30, but my race 35 is pretty low slung at the back, and i have dropped the front forks too. I have tried a few shocks on my 35 i love the Nitron shocks, they feel really nice, but the maxton i have now is something else
Just for info, I will be breaking my bike in 3 weeks if you are intersted in a shock or any parts?
I think Marcus57 also has a nice Nitron shock for sale at the moment.
