eBay 'specials' and other junk finds

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

First to third gear with no loss of power! How did Mr Honda miss that?

Surely he's having a bubble bath
"The bike will do 145-150mph!" what dream world is this guy in hahahaha

It's basically a spares or repairs bike and he thinks he will get that much for it haha, i have paid less than £500 for bikes in better condition

Looks like someone else has just escaped from the loony bin :stupid:

Joking aside what do people really think bikes like this are worth? Im on the side of the fence that thinks there worth less than one with decent OEM bodywork. Saying that i do appreciate tyga'd bikes when their done well, for example mike norman's bike, that one on gumtree is just pure tat IMO and the seller is clearly deluded.

How much? 6k! did I read that right?

I'm with you, an original bike is worth more than one with after market 'stuff' added. If the seller has all the original parts in with the sale then OK, but if it's new fairings, bar ends, rearsets, exhaust, etc I'd be thinking it's been crashed and repaired.

People seem to put an item on their bikes worth £100, and think the bike has gone up in value by £100. No, it hasn't! :peace:

Its hard to say without seeing the bike in the flesh so going on the pictures alone and the description that doesn't give much information away, only a list that reads like the Demon Tweeks catalogue. It looks like its been done to a reasonable standard, there are a few things that I would change on it, but I'm sure to the right buyer that is a well presented bike. I'd say between £1500 and £2000 which is what I would also consider a standard NC30 is very good condition to be in.

I'd offer £1250 and be willing to negotiate to £1500 for that one.
