starting issues - possible electrical fault? Help please.
Hi Guys, I have a 91 NC30 that is having a starting problem.
I use the bike daily for the comute to work which is only a 15 minute each way ride. The battery and plugs were replaced about 6 months ago. I have to connect it to my trickle charger every night when I get in to make sure it is absolutely fully charged for the next day. In the morning it starts on the button but after being stood all day at work it struggles to fire and takes quite a few tries. I have had to bump start it a couple of times because it wouldnt go with the starter. It has been much worse this week so I will be stripping and testing this weekend (I will go through the electrical test sheet on this site) but any other ideas or things for me to check would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

The only comments I would make regarding the electrical test sheet on the site is; measure the battery voltage at idle, no lights, and at 5000 rpm with the headlights on high beam. In either case you should get 14-15 volts.
