Vfr400 nc24 brakes
Right I am fed up cocking around with my brake callipers given the seals are knackered, the pad pins are seized solid and figure it would be far easier to source a new callipers. Do any other similar age bike callipers fit to allow me to convert I am thinking cbr/nc30??

CBR600F old two pot slider calipers may fit.
NC30 are 4 pots so wont fit.
Bear in mind any old calipers are likely to need new seals also.
Seals are cheap enough and the pistons are plastic so dont fall apart like old metal ones. Probably better in the long run to overhaul your existing calipers.
A nearby machinists will get the pins out if you cant get them undone.

I have tried drilling the pins out on my existing callipers but don't seem to be making any headway (just chews up drill bits), really need a pilar drill which I don't have. Interesting thought on cbr600 callipers I will do some research
