What to clean a frame with?
Ive got to reframe my bike and the frame Ive got its covered in dirt and oil. Normal jet wash and car shampoo fairly liquid isn't cutting it ect.
Is there somthing in the kitchen that will do it or a good product?

orange cleaner will sometimes lift stuff or even pledge/mr sheen (other polishes are available) are good at disolving dirt.

Re: What to clean a frame with?
as above, paraffin is good cheapish and easy.
gunk in a can that you brush on from halfords is probably easier if you dont have paraffin lying round and will work just as well.
1 litre can is around a fiver and will be more than enough unless your wasteful with it, just brush it on with an old paintburush, leave it for a while and agitate it, after a while hose it all off

4 ltr of parrafin is availalbe from B&Q for around a fiver. Gunk does pretty much the same job but is a tad more expensive.
My other ride is another 400, Woohoo!... Doh
