VFR NC24 rear shock

Does anyone know if the VFR NC24 rear shock will fit the NC23 :?:

I've bought one but not recieved it yet & the guy is prepared to re-list it if I don't want it :stupid: :oops:

Has anybody fitted one

Any info would be much appreciated :wink:

BTW I'll be posting soon about my experiences with the NC23 & putting some pics up :smile:

You'd be far better off fitting a newer CBR600 shock than a knackered old NC24 shock. I'm not certain if the NC24 shock would fit the NC23 but they were a bit crap when new anyway.

Graeme France should be able to sort you out.

I'll probably upgrade the spring on my spare shock as the damping is fine just the spring is too hard for solo work :(

It's fine with a pilly but finding one small enough as regular "ballast", is proving difficult and restrictive :oops:

BTW any particular model or year of CBR 600 I should be looking at for a donor shock :?:

I'm pretty sure that the first 'jelly mould' CBR600 shocks fit. There's some info in this thread:-

Alternatively if you fancy splashing out a bit more GF does a kit with the linkage and upgraded spring:-
