Re: Cadwell 3rd and 4th August TD weekend
What about organising a bbq between us? We've got a gas powered grill i might be able to bring if people want to do that then just bring your own food and I'll find out how much gas is. Thats is CMSMJ1 is ok with it in his car too
Nothing particularly wrong with them, the gear linkage is a bit rusty (I am aware can get titanium replacements) and I also think i'd find the bike better if i could move the rearsets as I'm pretty short in the leg and find it hard to grip the tank.

Re: Cadwell 3rd and 4th August TD weekend
I've sent the info packs now via email, so let me know if you haven't seen yours - and confirm your email addy please :)
BTW, there's still lots of places on the lunchtime parades, so if anyone from the 400GB forum is coming along to watch but fancies doing a couple of laps, just send me your name and bike details :D
Continental are giving a set of tyres as a prize for 'Best Bike of the Weekend', so time for a spit n' polish too!!

Thanks for the confirmation Darin - I got mine :)
The parades is a good idea - might even tempt people who are a little wary of trackdays to get the toe in the water once they see how lovely the track is and how grippy..

I'm not sure enough spit or polish are in existence to win me this prize!!

After deliberating with how i will cover the gas cost etc. to do all your food CMSMJ1 came up with a great idea.
Now debuting "Benny burgers"
Depending on how many of you are interesting for a small fee per item I'd be happy to do burgers/hotdogs etc. on the grill I'd obviously bring a load of them and some cobs then you just pay for what you eat (rounded up to simple change ie £1.50 for example rather than 1.43) if enough people are interested I'll sort out costings and go get a gas bottle ready.

Re: Cadwell 3rd and 4th August TD weekend
Ok so the weekend is rapidly approaching, and with a bit of luck the thunder clouds will have been and gone and we will be back in some clear blue skies.
What time does everyone think they will be landing at Cadwell?
I’m guessing that I will drive my van etc to work that day in burnley, then with a bit of luck get myself away to cadwell by 4.30. google maps is reckoning on a 2hr 45min journey so I should be there at 7.30ish.
Are we going to try and make a 400Greybike camp?
What are everyone’s thoughts?
In other news I have become a convert to Newky brown ale, so my hangover on Sunday should be pretty horrific!!!
