Hello all
Just servicing my NC30, and have noticed that neither brake light works when activated. Changed the bulbs but no joy. I am going to check the switches but just thought it a bit odd that both had failed. Are the switches prone to failure by any chance?
Thanks
Ian

Re: Brake switches
Both mine failed not long ago.
Front one was shitted wiring, and the rear was corroded contacts.
Take a closer look at them and you might be surprised

Re: Brake switches
Easy enough to test, take switch off and bridge the contacts in the plug.egonski wrote:Hello all

If the light comes on you have a knackered switch

Re: Brake switches
Thanks, the rear switch was just gunged up, a good dose of GT85 got it moving again. The front switch was dead, tested it by bridging the switch and the lights came on!. Cheap replacement at £8.00. Bike off for MOT when the switch is fitted. Thanks for the help.
