Potential new owner - what to look for?

Hi all, I've got the opportunity to buy a 1998 Version S CB400. The guy selling it has sent me some decent hi res pics that have got me interested enough to make the 640km round trip to take a look at it. Seems very clean for the year, ahs Brembo brakes etc. and looks like it could be a good buy. I'm in Cambodia, so ideally I need a bike that isn't going to give me too many problems! Any info on common problems to look out for would be much appreciated!! Thanks.
