thanks will and evil

ill get some pics up tonight, looking to start a restoration thread, she's a runner but not in the best nick :(
99$ sure she's a 3en2, intakes below lights, exhaust is stamped as well.

could anyone tell me exactly what an m max box will do?
have my eyes on a gold speedo converter which will bypass the restriction built into the speedo?

(had an nc24 few years back, is the 3en2 similarly hobbled?)

The restriction will cut in at 180 kmh ... or 112mph

A gold KMH to MPH converter will change the restriction to 180 MPH so you won't need to worry about it. It's good for a road bike because you can read the speedo in MPH.

The M-Max derestrictor will circumvent the restriction. Good for a race bike or if you change the speedo to a mph one

Was that the absolute steal on ebay for £330 a week or so ago?

it was!
couldn't believe it went for so little. all the way to fetch it (350 mile round trip :( ) I was half expecting it to be an absolute dog but luckily it just needs a damn good clean and a decent pipe, carburation is way off.

I was bidding on it  Good bargain hunting there.

Pah- 350 miles is nothing! we did the thick end of 700 miles last weekend to collect a £160 2TK rolling chassis and close to 600 miles the weekend before to collect a £100 Genesis/3EN1 basket case
