It has gone to a very good home though lol
I'm going to give it a good clean and degrease while the bodywork is off it as well.

And, how the hell did you find space in your garage to get that on blocks.

LOL well let's just say it was a interesting couple of hours, just getting the thing on the bench was a job in itself.

It's a long story involving miraculous Toyotas and tilting garage doors lol
In all honesty it just needs a wipe over as it's probably one of the cleanest NC30's out there that hasn't been restored. Those foot pegs as hideous as they are are really comfy, however they will be replaced with some original footpegs as soon as I get round to it.

Re: Zippy's RVF/VFR
Popped up to Tony's today and spent a few hours working on the bike, actually Tony worked on the bike and I just stood there with my jaw on the floor. I could just as easily just put it in the living room in place of the TV and be just as happy spending hours looking at it.
Well here's some updated pictures of it.
Freshly straightened yokes all together and looking very nice indeed.

Still loads of little jobs to do and as is normally the case it's the little jobs that take the longest.

The bad and the good. The bad, scratched frame where I balls'd up putting it on the abba stand
The good, maxton shock, titanium TSR sp1 system and Corece rear sets.

One question though. I'm using Fireblade 929 calipers but I've still got the RVF master cylinder. Will this all work ok?

I think you'll need the matching M/C, something to do with ratios.
Not sure how it all works yet, haven't had time to read into it, but Honda know what they are doing so on mine I've got matching M/C and calipers

We were having real problems bleeding the brakes so I'll have a look around for proper master cylinder.

Yes progress! Looking good
Feels like everyone's projects have slowed right down recently
