Front master cylinder help - identify and service
So I need help identifying this master cylinder, it was incorrectly listed on ebay as off a 400 but as it's 5/8" this isn't correct (I need a 5/8" for my fireblade callipers though) would liek to know what rebuild kit i would need or what rebuild kit would be compatible. (further questions after the photos)

Also does anybody know how to get this off? It had a rubber cover and circlip on top, I removed the circlip and it still wont budge. Also where can i get the bit of tube that goes from this to a reservoir?

Scott also mentioned the CBR900 kit but the photo on we moto looks like a different piston.

Re: Front master cylinder help - identify and service
The small tube may well just be very well stuck. According to the parts diagram, after you have removed the rubber seal and the circlip, the only thing other than the tube in the hole is the o-ring under it.

This does assume this is a 929 Blade m/c you have, and that there's no difference between that and other 5/8" ones....

The NC23 Tri Arm M/C repair kit looks pretty close to me:

Can anyone confirm the NC23 M/C size? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Re: Front master cylinder help - identify and service
I don't reckon they are 5/8
I reckon that is an old blade one as they are deffo 5/8.
End of the day you are after a NIssin 5/8 repair kit, not a bike model specific one

Re: Front master cylinder help - identify and service
Assuming Honda only used one type of 5/8" Nissin m/c at that time? I think the idea of the original post is that the parentage of this m/c is questionable. If Nissin/Honda only made/used one unit of this type for the size stated, then there will only be one type of repair kit. I'd be slightly concerned about ordering a kit without being completely confident that all of them were the same internally. You know what sod's law says!

Agree with you to a point - but the NIssin m/c has no idea what bike it is on and they are only listed on ebay for specific bikes as people these days are too dumb to ask or know about the bike.
I would say that all 5/8 mc of a certain age on Hondas will all take the same kit from Nissin.

Early (93-98) blade M/C repair kit, same part number as RC30 etc.

As long as the piston is 5/8" in diameter it shouldn't be an issue.
