Re: Mechanical KMH to MPH
Only any good to a 3Tj 4DX owner surely;levo wrote:I put a set of mph clocks up for sale and no one wanted them...
The mph clock has no wiring plug enabled to send the signal for the 12,500 rpm restriction.,thus meaning the TCI thinks no speedo fitted or has been tampered with.
Put them on owt but a 4DX without the M-Max box and its a splutter above 12,500.
M- max boxes are now very rare.
I have a set of mph clocks I got free from Mark with the 2TK.
The converter not only converts Kph to mph but ensures the 180kph(112mph) restriction is never reached,
Boris have you fitted the box you got in the "for sale " section.?

Re: Mechanical KMH to MPH
Not yet, I was toying with mph clocks but missed the ad I think. Edit: they're 600 clocks so the rev counter will be lower than a 400 ?
Used they're contact us thing to ask - it's a rubbish site, asks for accepting cookies all the time and you can't buy anything through it.

ah that makes sence now, IE: the distance between 10 and 20 on the clock is now a miles figure, the distance travelled will be more, so the needle moves between the 2 points slowerwillandrip wrote:The sweep of the needle is less on the dial which some don't appreciate.

Yes, the MPH speedos go up to 140 (?) whereas kmh go to over 200, you get used to it quickly enough though, and it's easier and more acurate for speed limits than reading a needle through a stickerHogdigerdy Dog wrote:ah that makes sence now, IE: the distance between 10 and 20 on the clock is now a miles figure, the distance travelled will be more, so the needle moves between the 2 points slowerwillandrip wrote:The sweep of the needle is less on the dial which some don't appreciate.

Here is the speedo overlay sticker
.
Here is one that uses the converter and someone even opened the speedo and placed a mph decal over the kph.

Just looks so much better and is easy read at a glance.

I could not even get that far;I was buried in cookies also and gave up.
Are Levo's clocks for a 600 ?-thought he had 3tj stuff up (TCI units) ! I never saw the ad for clocks.

as i found out to my detrimentEvilchicken0 wrote: and it's easier and more accurate for speed limits than reading a needle through a sticker

going through a known speed/red light camera at what i thought was 30mph and got a ticket for doing 38mph fu**ers
£35 for the kph/mph converter would have been money well spent, instead of £60 and 3 points

Good news and bad news
HmmmmHi Boris,
The speedo converters are gold, however we are currently holding no stock at the current time and all replenishment stock for this item is now on hold due to the manufacturer itself.
Thank you for your interest in our product
Kind regards
