Master cylinder bore size
Hey everyone, not been on the forum properly for a long while. Quick question, what is the standard bore size for for an NC35 front brake master cylinder. Mine has 5/8 stamped on it

Re: Master cylinder bore size
is it stamped with 14mm on it? 5/8 i take must mean 5/8 inch which is nearly 16mm so my bike has got a larger master cylinder on it? would it be to do with the previous owner putting brembo calipers on?

I think so, the factory one is deffo 14.. it has Nissin on it too.
15.875 sounds like its oversized.. and yes probably if it has different calipers on it
Is there something wrong with it?

no it just gave me loads of grief when I needed a rebuild kit and they have never felt the same since it was rebuilt. Its a nissin master cylinder, could it be off a fireblade?

Re: Master cylinder bore size
maybe, I think the fireblade was 16mm iirc, not an nc30 one anyway
