A 3TJ unit would still be restricted.
The 2TK was a revised Genesis, they had an exup and formed the basis for the 3EN bikes, the headers are stamped 2tk on the 3en.

Re: 1WG Genesis CDI on a 3EN2
A little update on my input on this.
Spent a couple of hours in the garage just now.
The 2Tk TCI is not a straight plug and play on a 3EN2= no spark.
The 2TK will run the Genesis
The Genesis and the 2TK TCI harness plug colours are identical.
Removing the green or the red with the blue trace or both do not prevent the engine running on a 3EN2 but did not test the restiction side of things.
So;this works with 3EN1 but not 3EN2.
Are you sorted out then Kayla.?
If so,its out on a bike tommorow for me ! (burn rubber whilst the sun shines)

A red box doth not a Snap On make.

The new TCI shouldn't be too long and I doubt very much I'll be able to get the 400 up to 112mph down the back straight at Teesside on Monday

Wonder if a 3EN2 is a swap for the 3TJ then, probably a different ignition curve.
If so it would be a 4DX for an unrestricted CDI

I don't think so, I'm sure the 3TJ cdi has different shape connectors (although that's not to say it couldn't be made to work if you put the right shape plugs on!)Evilchicken0 wrote:Wonder if a 3EN2 is a swap for the 3TJ then, probably a different ignition curve.

When the Ignitech doofer arrives here I'll post up some pics.
