What does the screw that goes three the bottom of the lower fairing screw into? I have this:

But I can't see what the screw grips? I tried gluing a nut in but it broke off when I tried it this morning (left a day for glue to dry). Am I missing a part or should it be a trim clip?

I'm not 100% sure what sizes are needed as it's been years since I bought some.
IIRC I just bought a bag of 100 assorted.
