Ohhh gold star to Arsey (and Speedy) - I shall open a particularly good bottle of merlot in your honour
I accept I probably don't 'need' it and you could just nip the lock nut up with the castellated adaptor......no problems at all, but I must admit I get a genuine satisfaction from having the right tool and actually knowing I have done the job 100% correct.
I have the luxury of time at the moment to gather parts for a planned future project, so I will see if the urge takes me to get the proper tool at some point…..see how this wine goes and it may be sooner than later – lol
