I don't know but it might be that the 88/89 VFR750FJ/K[1] RC24 yokes might fit too, I wouldn't bother with the forks as they're crap but the frames are very very similar and have 41mm forks. They also come up quite often on ebay for cheap. I don't know what the steering lock is like on the NC24 but odds are it's going to be similar to the RC24 and same goes for the lock stops.

If anyone wants to give measurements the NC24 stem I can see if it's the same as the RC24 stem. I've got a spare and I'm happy to take any measurements anyone wants.

EDIT: I've just checked and the head bearings are the same between the NC21/NC24 and RC24 so it's only stem length that may change.

[1] NOT the 86/87 VFR750FG/H though as they had 37mm forks.

Ooh intesting!! What sorta calipers came on the 750?

I'll check the stem length on monday / tuesday, am planning to post all the measurements up for anyone else doing stuff.

As for the original forks and air, mine have 11psi in each and hold air fine... it doesn't do much though :D

2 piston sliding Nissin calipers on the FJ/FK certainly and I believe the same on the later ones too (pads are certainly the same).

But the FG-FK both have very long forks in comparison to the later VFR750's and to the NC30. Plus they have anti-dive which means the left caliper is pivoted on a funky bracket which limits the calipers you can fit without making up your own bracket.

I'm having to go with an R1 front end to my RC24 project as it's the only one any where near long enough (and still going to be too short to keep the existing geometry).

The NC24's left caliper is on exactly the same bracket, calipers also look identical. However, the NC24 has floating discs which i've on a read on a 750 forum are bolt on to that model.

TRIUMPH / Thruxton 900 (04-08)
VOXAN / Scrambler 1000 (02)
The NC24's look smaller but it's hard to tell without having them side by side!

Certainly it looks like the RC24 ones should fit and as the same calipers are fitted to the VFR750 (apart from the LHS bracket) to IIRC up to 97 you could certainly get some newer ones. Do you want me to measure the essentials?

Sound's like I want NC24 discs though! What diameter are they?

Give me 2 mins and i'll measure them up, popping to the shop for some beers first :)

I was worrkied about this NC30 front end too.. the forks tubes are 50mm shorted (looked on LM sprares)
