Rear shock adjustment
Hey,
ive been tryna adjust my rear shock but the locknut wont budge
IVe tried using a lube that i got with my coilovers for my car and also hittin it with screwdriver and mallett
but it seems to be seized
Will i have to remove it or is there some trick i can try?
The bikes a '91 NC30 Jap import

which way you trying to turn it? There is a locknut that is sandwiched on top that needs loosening.
Screwdriver? Amateur
Use a c spanner or a brass drift it would be far easier off the bike without the weight of the bike pushing on the adjust collars, maybe a bit of wd40 and some paitence could work out ok.

Sort of on subject, tried searching but kept failing for some reason.
What rear shock upgrades would you all suggest? I've found some nitron and hagon on ebay, but wondering if I could save a few bob and use a cbr600 with a decent spring.
Opinions? Cheap option or save up the extra?
