Can you fit a 6 wire reg/rec to the nc 30?? If so what do you do with the switched wire?

If you can find out what the reg is off and find a wiring diagram for that bike it would be easy ish to figure out if it'd be doable or not, maybe just a case of plumbing the switched output to the ign on supply.

For the sake of fart-arsing about and hoping for the best with the sixth pin, would it not be quicker and easier just to get a 5 pin reg/rec and have done with it? ;-)

Sorted black wire is a switched live from the ignition, seems to be a charge rate damper/buffer

It was just a unit I've had laying around, the one on my rebuilt bike was not charging under load, only took around an hour to fit now charging great
