Anybody know if the standard FZR4 master cylinder will be ok with blue spots??

I have just fitted some to my FZR1000 forks ready for fitting to bike, just need a master and might use mine and sell my callipers.

Hiya

It'll work but it'll feel really firm, it's better to use a 14mm one if you can. I think we've got one spare if you need one- swap for your 3TJ swingarm if we do?

How does a 14mm stack up against a 19x20 or 18x20 ?

How does the top fork leg bolt fasten on, or is it just being used as a pin and the lockwire is keeping in in place? There's not much room to fit a bolt head or nut behind there once the caliper is on. Is the caliper machined further in to clear the nut?

Hi guys, blue spot calipers onto fzr400 3tj, you will need

Set donor blue spot calipers - they need sending in for machining to the two mounting arms
r6/r1 master cylinder ( im using r6 5eb - perfect ) - you can use std master but its not great !!!
offset bracket complete manufacture including new mounting bolts ( see attached pic )

available from PM Racing - ring Pete on 07980 926018
Lead time about 3 weeks
Ring for price

Done on my wet / twisty race bike, awesome results, can ring me on 07984073728 if any questions - hope this helps

all the best Mike
