Post by mollers » Fri Apr 19, 2013 6:47 pm

Evening all ;)

Stripping down the back end of my NC30 for what looks like the first time in the bikes history :o .
Rear wheel off and the shaft that the wheel nut screws onto moves approx 1mm in any direction :o :o :o . Is it ment too or is it ducked

whats the verdict boys ??

Cheers :peace:

Here is not the verdict but a comment, stripped mine for the first time the other day and it does the same thing. It seems to me that the the large tube around the shaft you are talking about is what the wheel actually centres on along with the little "lug nuts" that locate the wheel - the little internal shaft is just used for tension to hold everything together (when the wheel nut is on it actually centres the shaft you are worried about and prevents it from wobbling)... but thats what I think :)
