think you will need the chasis braced up a bit around headstock area ! !! !

Apparently not - the guy who built the Aussie one hasn't braced his and its fine.

The 3tj was over engineered for a 400 anyway. Look at the frames on new sports bikes and compare it to the 3tj.

That bike is the 1 built in OZ, was going to put it on road but I'm now only running an 8 litre tank, should be enough for a track session. The 39mm fcr's take up a lot of space. Can't get 3tj tank on so using a fibreglass cover moulded from a 3tj tank.
