Re: GPI Radiators and hoses installation & review - pics
I am going to have a new core fitted into my lower rad as it looks a bit sad it was steaming a little bit when i balanced the carbs so I suspect its going to fail anytime now, I will post up the cost when i find out whats what, it will only be used on the road so the standard refurbished unit should be ok for me.

Just a quick note to say on their first track outing the GPI rads and hoses did a good job. No leaks and no overflows even though the bike saw 103 degrees c back when standing in the pits. Their slightly larger size saw me running cooler by 5-8 degrees c I think. Nothing amazing, but better than the other way.

just a quick additional 'review' of the same product from GPI, fitted to my nc35 early last season and this coupled with new hoses (and a scitsu gauge for keeping a watchful eye) it has completely sorted the overheating problem i had, identical to the OP.
fit wise, yeah we had to make a bracket and bend a couple of bits, obviously not an issue on a racebike, but i understand the gripes if you were fitting to a nice example road bike.

....the rads are bigger but when i fitted mine i'd just changed the coolant so saved it in a tub and it didn't fit back in. I checked after, filling top and lower individually and both, although bigger externally are smaller internally! The extra cooling is just because of the clear flow through them im guessing.
Three sets ive had all were 10mm out on the top of the lower and had the same on the lower left mount of the top but easy fixes in 10 mins....all in all well worth 95/125 with hoses!

I also use these rads after seeing that the Swansea boys use them. They set I received had the same problem with the mount but my rad cap was on correctly. They were too wide for my fairing (this could also be down to the fairing which was also cheep). But worked well to cool the bike and great for the price.
My lower rad was too wide on the left hand side so I got a local shop to take it in a bit. On dissemble of the rad he found the factory hadn't cut the tubes off inside so the tubes all ran too deep into the rads. This would be effecting coolant flow so he fixed the two on that side for me but I expect it to be the same the entire way round.

Hoses yes. Rads no. They are not crash proof. :-)
